Took some pictures today of various ships at the Port of Seattle

Went downtown today and took some very average photos of the Diamond Princess, Oosterdam and Veendam in the Port of Seattle. It was a overcast and rainy afternoon (not ideal for pictures) but they should give you the general idea. Thought this would be interesting to those of you comming to Seattle for Alaska cruises this season.

 

The Diamond Princess and Oosterdam are docked at Terminal 30 and the Veendam is in dry dock at Todd Shipyard. There was no NCL ship in todwn today, so Pier 66 was empty.

 

I will make another trip downtown when the weather is nicer and hopefully get some better pictures. Anyway, hope these are of some help to all you Alaska cruisers.

If you are by the port on the 12th can you let us know if the Spirit is in port. She is suppose to dock in Seattle at Pier 66 on the

Glad you liked the pictures. I am probably going downtown next Sat. the 15th to take a look at the Spirt. (She is here from the 12-15th). Unfortunately, when I was downtown yesterday I noticed a gate and a sign on the top of the Bell Street Pier (Pier 66) that said the observation deck was going to be closed during cruise ship operations. If that is the case it will seriously hamper getting decent pictures of ships docked at Pier 66. I will see what I can do.
