From the NCL website:

If you are 18 through 20 years of age and you have the written consent of your parents or guardian you can purchase beer or wine for yourself only when the ship is sailing in international waters (except in Alaska and Hawaii, where you must be 21 years of age to consume or purchase alcohol of any kind).* If you want to gamble in our casinos, you must have a valid ID showing you are 18 years or older. If a guest under the age of 18 wins in the casino and can not provide proof of age, he or she will not be paid the winnings. There are no casinos on our ships in Hawaii.

* NCL encourages the responsible use of alcohol and accordingly reserves the right to permanently or temporarily revoke the drinking privileges of any guest who violates NCL’s Guest Code of Conduct or who is deemed a danger to himself, herself or others by vessel management. Continued abuse of alcohol while sailing and/or violation of NCL’s alcohol policy may result in immediate disembarkation.

Okay, that was a smart a$$ answer. It would be helpful to actually indicated the question in the TITLE/SUBJECT line in the future. Everyone pretty much knows you are asking a "?"

Oh, and another interesting piece of info:

Apparently they will not sell helmets of beer to kids under 21 even with permission; only one at a time.

We were talking to a bunch of 20 yr olds who were having a heck of a good time late at night. They invited us to play some drinking game with them (which of course we declined ). Then one of the kids came back and offered us money to buy them a beer helmet because they were only allowed to buy one beer at a time.

I would have thought it was all just a ruse, except they all had bottles of beer already, so they were allowed to buy, just not in quantity.

BTW...we didn't.
