$300 Coupon Book?

We are supposed to get a coupon book with our booking a cruise with Carnival. Can anyone tell me what kind of coupons these are and what are they for?

You will find coupons such as buy one drink get one drink free, buy three bottles of wine, get one free, buy 3 8x10 photos, get 1 free and so on.

Ooh, my coupon book didn't have ANYTHING like that! LOL! Everything in the book was basically the same deals you could get on the ship... I thought it was a crock! There was a photo coupon in there, saved a few bucks but that was about it... maybe they have improved on them since last year!!!!!

Does every cruiser ge one of these books? If not, how do you get one? My PVP never mentioned it.

Mine was pretty lousy too. Get 10% off second shore tour, a few wallet size pics when you buy and 8x10, and one thing was a free artwork if you go and stay the entire time at the auction. The rest we will never use. Maybe you will get a better one!

Not every cruiser gets one. Mostly repeat cruisers and on certain sailings. THe coupon book is far more glamourous to the people who are giving them away then to people receiving them. Ohhh I am giving you a free $300 coupon book where the receiver thinks they are receiving something good. NOT. Most coupons wont be used. To use a coupon you have to buy something.

Hey, it's free and it's going to cost my t.a. postage to mail it to me. The real rip off are those supposed discount coupon I've seen hustled by the port and shopping consultants on cruises.

I didnt think the agents have the book- its usually in our cabin waiting for you. Maybe the coupon book your agent has is different.

we got those coupon books last year from our t.a. we used very few of the coupons, i think just the photo ones. others were art coupons, golf coupons, etc. that we just didn't need.

 

this year, we used travelocity, but they didn't know anything about the coupon books. they were offering a cashback deal anyway, which is more valuable to me than the coupon book.
