Here's the code from "HTML to embed in website" after setting the image size to 800.

<a href="xttp://picasaweb.google.com/pierce324/Alaska/photo#5043798254343509106"><img src="xttp://lh3.google.com/pierce324/Rf8rygThVHI/AAAAAAAABMA/kL3-9vwt_vc/s800/Alaska%202006%20-%20Day%206%20-%20Icy%20Strait%20154.JPG" /></a>

(I replaced the "http" with "xttp" so it wouldn't be a real link.)

The green/bold text is the part that you paste into the "Insert Image" dialogue box.

Here's what you get:

Alaska%202006%20-%20Day%206%20-%20Icy%20Strait%20154.JPG

"Any technology, sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic."

- Arthur C. Clarke

:D

Hope this helps!

Its a walk way to the middle of the lake. How helpful is that?

By the way, Mr. Clarke is correct. :)

This is your first time what? Taking the picture or posing for one? Okay, I'm kidding (just couldn't resist). But I do like the photo. :)

I resemble that remark. ;)

My first time in a Monkey suit. :D

I couldn't believe when we saw this bus in Pisa. I had to take a picture of it.

Just wanted to try this - pls tell me if you can see the pic (when previously linking to Picasa I could see the photo but apparently others could not :( )

Would be great being able to link to the existing Picasa albums instead of uploading to Photobucket for every time I want to post a photo ;)

Name of the company is actually Fücker - the stylised bird above the 'u' is supposed to signify the "Umlaut" (a fact I think will be lost to most people - even as a German speaking person I did not catch on ...)

Thanks, Dave - look forward to meeting you on Mercury :)

And I, you! Almost there, aren't we?

Geez....where did the 600-odd days go since we booked?

Time to lay all the camera stuff out and squeeze it down to 15 lbs for Qantas.

Okay I this is exactly what I was looking for HELP  with the pict thing. After much frustration, I went looking for help from fellow CC and found this thread. YEAH!!! :) So I signed up for photobucket and figured that out with no problem following everyones instruction. Except that the first try on my roll call, I probably scared everyone by posting a huge picture. OOPS.:o But now the only problem I have is we tried to post a picture of our wedding on the beach in St Thomas last year to our profile, and don't know if it worked or not. I can't see the pict on my screen, only that little box thing. I checked the user cp settings and it looks like it's there, and we don't have picts blocked that I know of. Can anyone help? Thanks.:)

Just testing to see if I have it right ===> Me too!

Then in front of the address you just copied type blockquote> OK here goes.. this URL from Cruisecritic

so there should be no problem with access...

http://pictures.cruisecritic.com/data/504/medium/Grand-daus.jpg' alt='Grand-daus.jpg'>

ahh..success! ...but a word of advice/correction...

the above instruction includes a closing html command involving a back-slash as in [\IMG]

but that didn't work for me.

I changed that closing command to a forward-slash [/img] (the way I know html to be!)

and wow! - lookit that Bevy of Babes on Carnival Destiny!

There is an easier way. From any photo on a web page, you only need to click copy with the right-hand mouse, and then paste it onto the posting, like the above photo from CC's front page today.

If you linked to the photo, how come your posted photo is not full sized?
