A day at an all inclusive resort

Just got this from Sunset Jamiaca Grand Resort and Spa in Ocho Rios. They have a website you can look up and a huge waterslide. I don't have kids, but someone recommended this to me as a good place to go for an all inclusive day.

I've used day passes at Sandals Dunns River & the Sandals which was Beaches. Note that we got there early because the ship time was 1 hour later than local time. Not sure if this is always the case or if they don't observe daylight savings time.

About taxis: we went out to the parking lot at the pier & the prices were set & high. Driver's offered rides for the price on the sign, but they were going to put us in a van with other people going to Dunns River Falls, then take us on to Sandals. That did not sound right for the price. We should have had our own taxi. So I kept walking down the line. A taxi driver asked if he could help, I told him the price was too high. I could have kept walking out the gate, but he said his buddy on the other side of the fence would help me. We then saw that there is a gate in the ivy fence/chainlink, it goes next door to a hotel/timeshare complex. There are taxi drivers in there who charge about 1/2 the set fees. Our driver was licensed.

Love the idea of doing an all inclusive for a day.

Any all inclusive resorts available from Montego Bay ? and if so, which ones and at what recent price per person?

Hey Cruzi---Check out SunsetBeach Resort---5 minutes from the port by cab--Last year it was 40 per person---all you can drink and eat---pool with swim up bar---and one of the best snorkle areas around---Have Fun---Ray
