We took a whalewatching trip on the Risssalena in March and it was the highlight of our trip. The boat is a fairly new, impeccably maintained, motorized catamaran. The crew was so friendly and welcoming. There was an open bar and they served a delicious full lunch and the best Bloody Mary I've ever had! We saw a mother whale and her calf and the only downside was that these poor whales were chased for hours by 7 or 8 other boats and some of them really came too close. Otherwise, it's an excellent way to spend a half or full day.

thanks! how many people were on the boat with you guys? and did you make reservations first?

There were about 15 total pax. Our concierge made the reservations at least a week before as I recall.
