seabreezer Posted September 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2004 We took a whalewatching trip on the Risssalena in March and it was the highlight of our trip. The boat is a fairly new, impeccably maintained, motorized catamaran. The crew was so friendly and welcoming. There was an open bar and they served a delicious full lunch and the best Bloody Mary I've ever had! We saw a mother whale and her calf and the only downside was that these poor whales were chased for hours by 7 or 8 other boats and some of them really came too close. Otherwise, it's an excellent way to spend a half or full day.
