you surely did!

I too have family of 5 (can I keep them from playing arcade games on seapass? can they just bring quarters?---these guys are nintendo freaks and since they can play at home I don't think they need to when they are on an "adventure"!!!

I think I need to rethink my budget! Originally I thought $500 should cover it (but t hat would only cover tips) and we do enjoy a cocktail, I should probably prepare for $2000!!!

WOW! I have a high amount of total spendings at the end of a 4 night cruise on the Enchantment compared to some of you other guys.:( It was around $300 pp for all onboard purchases. Now take that and multiply it by 4 (2 kids)! My wife doesn't drink, and I don't drink that much. And we went to the casino but didn't spend that much money. Maybe it was the bingo? But I can't be complaining, I won over $700 on that cruise because of bingo!:D

Excluding tips, I've gotten off the ship for < $10. No booze, no spa, no pictures, no casino. Just a shot glass for my son's souvenier collection. I spent $28 for a 3 day bus pass in Bermuda. and $5 for a tshirt on the island. I don't collect stuff and I hate trinkets and clutter.

maloha04, MOSTEEL, & dihead,

I know what you mean, I thought the ship credits from my RCI card would be enough but obviously $200 for 5 of us won't do! I am going to book excursions ahead of time (still trying to decide if thru RCI or on my own ..eeek) so won't have that...but it is my vaca too and I do like a cocktail or 2!

Wondering what drink costs are??? Still considering 1 drink card for kids to share (prob against the rules but we'll give it a try)

So, piggy bank, here I come (the kids don't have to go to college do they?)

I didn't think the drinks were that expensive. I think with 15% tip added one of those really tall fruity rum things runs about 6.00. (Plus you get to keep the glass, usually!) Hubby drinks beer and that wasn't even high priced and pop in cans under 2.00. I bought a pop card when we went on the Explorer - won't do it again, though I think I got my money's worth. (I drink a lot of diet coke) Trying to drink more water in real like anyway! We did use pop and beers out of the mini bar and they weren't even that bad. (Sometimes when you want a diet coke you just gotta have it.) I think we got a decent bottle of wine for around 24.00. (The same bottle cost my hubby 42.00 at a resort in Minnesota that same summer!) If your kids drink ALOT of pop - the drink card is worth it. Your kids will have so much fun. I think the arcade would have been a black hole for $$ had we taken our son when he was about 10-14.... Enjoy your cruise- our youngest is now 18, I wish we would have gotten in to cruising earlier and taken all the kids. :o I think this time we will use room service more. We usually have a tray brought up first thing in the AM with coffee, tea (for me), juice and rolls. It is great to sit on the balcony early in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea.
