Obstructed outside

Has anyone been on the Mediterra with the obstructed outside cat 4. I know they are french doors, but do they open? Thanks Donna

The cat 4 are just like a balcony, without a balcony. Doors open to a little rail. View is totally obstructed by a life boat. You can see the deck below but not out to the ocean. Nice rooms. Better to have a door that opens than no door. You can get fresh air and sunlight.
