Hellicopter to Montserrat Volcano - Antigua

Has anyone done this? Is it worth the $$$?

ezcruizer: I did a Panama Canal cruise with Crystal Cruises in January and had the opportunity to do the helicopter ride to Montserat from Antigua. It was breathtaking! I was up front with the pilot, a fellow Canadian and he flew as close to the volcano as I wanted to go.

 

As far as I could tell there are two helicopters doings this tour. I am pretty sure yours would be no different than our tour. I was quite pleased as were the others on our tour. Some in the alternate helicopter complained that they did not get as good a tour. Weather and pilot dictate alot!
