Cartagena: around the pier: anything to see?

Is there anything to see and do within walking distance of the pier? We have been there before and did the city tour with shopping. It was a few years ago, and I do not recall what is around the pier area.

The port is an industrial one; I did not see anything to do in the immediate vicinity.

Completely industrial port rea and bad areas right outside.

You need a taxi, or tour.

 

We got back yesterday---loved Cartagena and saw it via Lee Miles tour guide services. Highly reccomend that!
