Galveston Tremont

Awhile back I asked which is better, Tremont or Harbor House? I wanted to let others know that we booked at the Tremont. Some of our plans changed abit. Orginally we were coming in 3 days in advance of our cruise the end of December therefore getting to spend New Years Eve in Galveston. Looking at the rates we have decided to come in just one day in advance & stay the 3 days after since the room rates were so great. I managed to book with Travelocity for Sun, Mon & Tuesday nights for 109.00 per night plus the 15% taxes. That is a great rate for this hotel. Hope this info helps someone else in their planning.
