The Destiny, Triumph and Victory were the first three ships built on this platform. The Triumph and Victory have the Panorama deck but beyond that all three are identical. The Conquest came next. With the Conquest the platform was lengthened by adding a 50' section aft behind the mid-ship elevator bank. The amenities added in this section include:

The Supper Club

The Volleyball and Basketball court.

A second set of two buffet lines in the Lido restaurant doubling capacity and adding specialty stations like the "taste of nations".

A dedicated teen disco area and enlarged game room on the Promenade deck between the disco and the casino.

A wedding chapel/meeting space on Atlantic deck aft of the mid-ship dining room.

A dedicated internet cafe space as opposed to the hallway used for this on the older platform.

Extra cabins on decks 1,2,6,7 and 8

The Valor also has a large Camp Carnival space forward that the older platform lacks as well as the Giant movie screen over the main Lido pool.

I'm sure I missed a few things, others can fill in.

I would suggest you order a Carnival brochure so you can see in detail the differences in the ships. Having been on both I can tell you they are very different. The Valor is a much newer and larger ship than the Triumph, wiyh many more balcony cabins. The Valor does not have as much open space as the Triumph, it's a more closed up ship. I enjoyed both but I prefer the layout of the Triumph. It's much easier to navigate then the newer larger ships.

I think you are confusing ships here as the basic layout of the two ships is nearly identical. At any rate here are the basic stats of the two ships from the Carnival website:

Carnival Valor

Total Staterooms - 1,487

Private Balcony Staterooms - 555

Decks - 13

Passenger capacity - 2,974

Total crew - 1,180

Tonnage - 110,000

Registry - Panama

Ship size - Large

Carnival Triumph

Total Staterooms - 1,379

Private Balcony Staterooms - 480

Decks - 13

Passenger capacity - 2,758

Total crew - 1,100

Officers nationality - Italian

Ship size - Large

Tonnage - 101,509

Ship length - 893

Registry - Panama

The differences between the two ships are outlined in my previous post.

I have been on both the Triumph and the Valor. They are both great ships. They both have the same basic layout. If you have been on the Triumph, you will be a pro finding your way around the Valor. As the previous person commented, there are a handful of differences. The Valor seems larger (which it is) and you can tell that it is newer. I do believe that the Triumph was refurbished recently, which you should ask about. I would gladly sail on either ship again, but I give the Valor the edge.
