La Guaira is only the port, if I remember correctly. Went there on Ocean Princess 2001.

Got off ship, got on bus, went directly to Caracas. From there, went to a few other places, including Murano glass factory, and back to the ship.

Once there was enough......

Caracas is a CITY, not like a typical caribbean island.

Your post did not say if you were going there.

If you are, when and on what ship ?????

La Guiara has been substituted by Isla Margarita, which is an island off the coast of Venezuela. You can go to the Princess web site and look at the excursions for that port.
