Joanandjoe Posted June 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2004 Several islands offer tours by open air safari buses. They sound hot, and sound like a good way for a redhead such as Joe to get a sunburn; but we don't really know what they are. Can someone describe them? Maybe they're covered but with no windows, which might be OK.
LindaKE Posted June 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2004 Go to www.godfreytoursvi.com. This is for St. Thomas, but my guess is that it is the same type vehicle. wwinfl91 Posted June 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2004 When we have been on them in the past they are usually pickup trucks with benches in them for seating. Some of them have a canvas cover that provides limited shade but they are mostly in the sun so if you are sun sensative be sure to use a lot of sunblock. Have a Great next cruise.
