does anyone know how long the search engine on cc will be down. its been days now.

I'm sure they will reactivate the full search feature when/if their hardware can support it. Apparently it was that feature which caused these boards to have major conniptions from mid-January to end-February. Since it was disabled the boards are functional and user friendly again, which is a good thing. Obviously an advanced search feature is helpful to find information, including things posted by folks who may not even post here any longer -- I'm sure CC wants it reactivated too, but not at the expense of all board functions.
