Best place to snorkel in Costa Rica!!!

If you are going to Puerto Limon, we found no snorkeling or diving available. It's not a wasted stop, though. There is a wonderful market right at the pier where local artisans sell and craft everything from jewelry to wood products. It is a great source for small wooden puzzle boxes. We bought a dozen for about $5-6 each. They sell elsewhere in the Caribbean for $25-30. Also bought a nice Lapis pendant made right onsite for under $20.

My mom just returned from a Princess cruise that did not allow ANY wood products from South America to be brought onboard. Check on the rules before you buy the boxes.
