Flying time

Recommended Posts

Flight times vary depending on weather conditions and type of aircraft you will be flying on. I would put it at 8 hours to 8 and a 1/2 hours. If you are on a 747 the time could be less, if you are on a 767 the time could be more. I would put it at 8.0 hours for an average. Tim

The DL website lists five nonstop flights from JFK to CDG on April 13. One is operated by Delta, the others are operated by Air France. The listed durations range from 7 hrs 5 min to 8 hrs 10 min. Actual flight time would be less. All the flights leave in late afternoon/evening and arrive the morning of the next day.

A few years ago we touched down at CDG and taxied for 40 minutes before stopping, then we deplaned down the rolling stairs and boarded a bus to the terminal. Always allow extra time if you are connecting at CDG. Then allow even more time.
