We are looking for a precruise hotel in Vancouver BC. Would like to use priceline for a 4 star hotel. Has anyone used Priceline for Vancouver and if so how much did you bid for a 4 star.

Someone recently got the Marriott Pinnacle for $73 and the Hyatt Regency for DT for $110.

If you go over to the West Coast & Canada boards you will find a lot of discussion on this topic. During the cruise season a 4* hotel in Vanouver normally will start at about $250 and go up from there. We have been seeing some pricing on Priceline at about $150 for 3 & low 4*'s. If you find something you like we will try to help you with your choice.

Three years ago I booked two rooms thru Priceline in Vancouver. I was able to get a four star downtown hotel (but forget the name) for $60 for each room. I had to keep putting in the bid for a couple of weeks, but it finally was accepted. The hotel was beautiful and only about two blocks from the cruise terminal. It was very convenient to everything. We walked to everywhere.

We won the Pacific Palisades with a $125 bid for June. It's a 4* PL property (probably mostly due to the Robson Street location; no offense to fans of the hotel, but it seems more like a 3* to me, until you consider location). However, location does have a money value, and we're very happy with where this hotel is located. We think considering the hotel's location, amenities, and the rack/discount web rates for our date of stay we got a good-to-great deal.
