Cabin above disco on Destiny

Hi, I need some help here...

I'm trying to book my parents on the Destiny southern caribbean cruise on February 6, 2005. I found a good deal on a 4C cabin on the Upper Deck, but the only rooms they are offering are directly above the disco. Does anyone know about these rooms? Is this why they are so cheap?!? Thanks in advance for any info at all!!!!!!!! :) :)

Thanks for the quick response. So how bad is it actually? Will their walls be shaking from the beat of the bass or is it more like background noise that could be fixed by having their own music playing in their room (or earplugs!)??? How late does it go till??? :)

I sure feel bad for people that just go ahead and book these rooms without knowing any of this! Especially if they go to bed early or have small children with them.

I booked one of these cabins for my 17 yo son and his friend for our July cruise. I figure they won't go to bed until late anyway, so what's the difference? But, I would NOT book it for myself and DH. We have had cabins above the aft lounges before, and while they aren't too loud, you do hear the music until around 1:00. So spend the extra cash and get them a quieter room.
