In port times on Majesty 4-day

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

We'll be boarding Majesty in about a week and I'm hearing conflicting info about the times we'll be in port. My cruise stuff and the RC website states we'll be at Nassau and Key West only til like 5 or 6 pm but I'm hearing others say that they are in Nassau until 11pm on the same cruise.

What's the scoop with that? Am I missing something?

We were just on the Majesty 4-day got home on Friday afternoon.

We were in Nassau until 12 am everyone had to be back on the ship by 11:30 pm In Key West, we were there until 6:00 pm

I too have seen several posts showing different times, perhaps RCi is changing the times.

IMO it would be a good idea to leave Nassau earlier than midnight, since this is formal night people won't be rushed to get back on the ship to enjoy the formal night activities.

Have a great cruise!

Hello my fellow cruiser:)

It seems that some times they stay longer and other times they don't. On my other Majesty cruise we were there until midnight but it was listed as such in the itinerary that we would stay that long. I am assuming we must be leaving by the time posted for ours. Sucky eh!

It definitely would be nice not to be rushed to get back. Maybe we'll get lucky the the above poster.

Was your itinerary listed as staying there until midnight or was it until 6pm?

Yeah, I'm hoping we get lucky. I'm trying to plan what to do that day and it will depend on how long we're there. I wish I knew for sure.

I asked this very same question a few months back because I thought it was weird - what's a few more hours in port?

I am going on the Majesty on 6/9 and have been wondering the same thing. Will you report back after you cruise and let me know what they did on your cruise??

This is not a random thing. Some of the cruises are scheduled for 6pm and others midnight. Unless RCCL changes the itinerary, you will leave at the scheduled time. My guess for why is port traffic either in Nassau or the next morning in Miami.
