Table for 2?

Once you are onboard you should go to the dining room and meet with the Maitre d' to find out what size table you have been assigned. If it is not a table for two and can ask to be switched to one (if available). They will generally try to accomodate you, but it is not a guarantee. Hope you have a great cruise.:D

Slipping the Maitre D' $10-$20 at the time of your request helps to grease the wheels. That is the only time I tip the Maitre D'. ;)

In our experience, they won't take a tip at the time of a request, so we always tip them on the last night if they've done something for us.

 

Also, Jeff, not sure what ship you're on, but the Fantasy classes don't have real tables for 2, but you might get a 4-person table by yourselves.

We went to see the Maitr'D on the Miracle to request a table for two which he gave us! We went to give him $20 and he would not take it! Very impressive.. he got a nice envelope at the end of the week;)
