Bill: Curious to know if there are any other passengers who've accomplished your feat of the very first b2b2b on this brand new ship. . . or have you become the longest passenger 'resident' all by yourself??

Thoroughly enoyed your pictures of Amsterdam, one of my favorite places on this entire planet. It appears you covered a lot of the city by both canal tour and on foot. Kudos to you for finding a way to see so much of that fantastic location. :)

I know at least 1 lady and some others that are doing the same. Several others booked voyage 1 and 3 and took 3 days off to visit London. I considered that, but it was less expensive to stay on the the ship than to stay in London for 3 days + I would have missed the naming ceremony.

Thank you. I had not been to Amsterdam in decades and it has certainly changed. I did escape without munchies, although I did have to try a hot dog. I think Denmark or Helsinki or both may be the next time(s) in quest of the perf4ect dog.

The cliffs of Moher now have competition in my most beautiful spots in Europe. I am now convinced a cruise out of Dover is on my to do list. The village looked really nice. I love the history of Dover. I hate the pound exchange rate but going on the cruise and paying American dollars to Carnival sure helps. My neice just spent three weeks in Denmark as a study abroad student and she loved it. Can't wait to see the pics as she is slowwww posting them to her auntie.

includes some pics of aft balconies

a work in progress...

Were those all aft? We are in 6475 (next to the aft, long balcony) and it looked like some of those on the side had a lounge chair! Was one of those on the side? If you happen to talk to people who are on 6 in the aft -- would you mind asking them if there is a noise issue from the lounge below??? (Or stealthy sneak in the cabin to take a picture! haha, just kidding, no breaking and entering! I am curious as to whether they have a sofa, someone posted in freedom that a similar room doesn't)

Again, LOVE Your pics. Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to upload.

Nola, I can't thank you enough for the fabulous pictures you have provided to us. It is almost like we are with you. OK, that is really a stretch :p but I am enjoying your cruise through your eyes.

BTW, were you able to keep your Stateroom through your B2B2B? What a fabulous trip(s) of a lifetime for you.

I switched cabins but have the same cabin now as I did for the 3 day cruise. I should have gone for an upgrade but didn't feel like packing and unpacking. You don't have to leave the ship if you keep the same cabin or not.

Updated with some sea day pics including a CC gathering.

Hi Nola,

Thanks for the pics. I cannot wait to go on the Splendor this November for my honeymoon. I was wondering if you knew if the regularaft balcony rooms had a couch in them. From the looks of the pics you posted it seemed there was only a chair but no couch. But it also looked like a 9a wraparound. Thanks Pete

We will be in 6475 (Upperdeck) on the August 18 cruise. I was concerned about the lack of a sofa and called my TA who said that there is a sofa. I was also concerned about the noise from the Morocco Lounge and was told that there is adequate soundproofing. Now I am wondering again...

Is that the the room in the photos? Have you talked to the cruisers in those rooms?

Once again...great photos, Bill! Keep up the good work. Now I am going to look at you latest uploaded pictures.

I keep seeing your photographs of the pools and am wondering whether the pool water is heated. As you travel further north, please let us know whether the sliding roof over the pool area is closed vs. open, and whether the water slide is open. Thanks.

Nola,

Thanks for the pics. Sorry if this has been asked but how has the weather been and did you decide to do the Carnival White Nights River Cruise? If so, how was it?

Hubby and I are trying to decide on a possible Baltic cruise next year.

Thanks again. Diana

Bill, thanks again for taking time out from your holiday to keep us all posted. How did the "Paris on Your Own" tour work out for you? We've prebooked this one for September when we hit Le Havre, and have wondered whether the three or four hours in Paris was worth it. We only plan on seeing the major sights - it's mainly to say "We were in France, we saw Paris" kind of thing.

Thanks again, enjoy the rest of your cruise, and I hope we can reciprocate when we board in 46 days.

Cheers!

Mal
