Lcd Flat Panel Televisions

I AM IN THE MARKET FOR A 20-25" LCD Flat Panel Television. Does anyone know if I can save money on these in the islands? I will be in Aruba, Curacao, St Thomas and St Maarten.

I haven't found too many deals on electronics in the islands. You can certainly save a few $$ on the tax up front but you may very well exceed your duty allowance coming into the states.

 

I believe your duty free allowance is greater in the USVI and can be aggregated on every island. In other words, your duty free allowance can be combined with your spouse as well as your children.

 

You may wish to check prices at Boochland or Royal Caribbean (not the cruise line). Boochland's has a website.

Also, I remember reading on the board a while back that you have to be careful about the warranties which may or may not come with things purchased out of country.
