We returned Thursday night from our Legend cruise and had a great time .....It was nice to run into some fellow cruisecritic members(Dromo and drenn). ...Our cabin was 8268 cat 11 with a wrap around balconey ....The balconey was definately worth it it was huge ....we had 12 people traveling with us and we all fit very comfortably to watch as we passed the statue of Liberty ...gotta run for now but, I will try to write a more complete review later in the week....I would be happy to answer any questions :) Bonnie

Glad you had a great time... ours will be SOON!

What did you think of the 2 shows? (Jazz Hot and Take II)

..also did you visit the Piano Bar - wht did you think of him? (Mike Lawless)

...one more thing... what is "Carnival Colors" ... something about dividing the dining room into sections so you have a "team" to participate with all cruise???

We will be in 4237 (wrap-around), and I was curious if those on Deck 8 also had the cabin divided into small rooms? (bedroom, changing area, "living" area...)

THANKS!

Tom

everyone:)

Hi

We did not go to the shows and I cannot remember what they where but, I will check to see if I have a capers at home. I can say that others in our group did enjoy the shows one was a swing dancing show from what I remember them saying. The cd is Brett Alans and he will still be sailing on the legend when you go. We enjoyed the two social hosts Mike and Adam, Brett was good but after awhile was a little much lol but, aren't all cd's. The piano bar was a place we ended up quite frequently as we all enjoyed the friendly atmosphere Mike Lawless was good but, not as much fun as the piano player on the pride in jan 03(I wish I could remember his name). The food in the dinning room was good as was the buffet the staff in both where very friendly and quick to bring us what we needed. The firebird Lounge was also alot of fun if you enjoy kareoke. The only serious complaint anyone in our group had was that the sports bar hardly ever plays "sports" on there tv's

most days there where soap opera's playing lol We are big NE Patriots fans and where looking forward to watching the sunday game while on the cruise but, they said they would not be able to change the satelite to get it or any sunday football.....So ok no big deal ....but, when they said they weren't going to play the Red Sox -Yankees game people really started to get upset on board as you can imagine sailing from NYC there where quite a few diehard Yankees fans as well as a good share of us Red Sox fans on board. Finally it was agreed that the game would be on but they would need to switch the satellite so all anyone could watch in there rooms was the game as well....I think there should be a better plan here as I do not feel this was fare to those in there rooms who didn't want to watch the game .

Our room was 8268 and it was a suite with a seperate bedroom ,living room and a walk in closet we loved it. The room Steward was great his name is Ion from the Ukraine. ...Our favorite waiters outside of the dinning room where Alan on the lido deck by the pool and Alexander in the sports bar/casino If you run into Alexander please tell him Bonnie and Paul say hi:) The ports where beautiful I exspecially enjoyed can garden beach in Tortolla it was just gorgeous....In St Thomas we went on Godfrey's tour which we loved and Saphire beach and in San Juan we went to Senor Frogs which was alot of fun . The Legend is a beautiful Ship and I wish you all the best as we had a wonderful cruise I just wish it didn't end so soon :)Bonnie

Hi Judy-

Great someone else sailing the Legend 3/19!!! Sorry I didn't post sooner, I planned a last minute trip to WDW leaving 11/5 and returning 11/11 so I've been busy planning that trip.

There's a posting for our cruise in the roll call section hasn't been to active but we can get it going!!!

There's also old posts with great info for first time cruisers as what to expect and pack and so on.

Pack shorts and tank tops or what ever you wear for during the day and in the ports, A swim suit and at least one jacket or sweatshirt in case. Also if going to the dining room and I strongly suggest you do there's two formal nights dress up not down and just a nice dress or outfit for other nights.

Any question ask we can all help!
