As soon as the lady from the TA calls me back...they are pretty busy w/ their sale going on...or so I hear. I'm SO excited! Jan 17, 2010 on Carnival Glory to the E. Caribbean. It's me and my husband's first cruise ever and we can't wait for it to get here!!!

abw2005: Glad you booked your first cruise, they are such unbelievable fun. I think your first cruise will be such a surprise, having even funner and exciting times than you expected. Even though you have a long wait for the cruise, you can spend alot of time at cruise-critic and keep learning. The cruise will be here before you know it.:D

Hope you get a call back soon. I've been waiting for a callback since 9:30 am Eastern from a certain "Big Sale Today Only" TA company. ;)

I think we are on the same page w/ the TA hehe I called mine this AM and got a call back right away, but she informed me that it would be probably later today when she got back to me since she was already backlogged! I was up at 8am eastern(7 central, where I am)to see the big 'deals' for today! Hope you get a call back soon too!

Wow, that's not like them! I got a call from the person I was working with about 15 mins before she was going to leave work, booked my cruise, she emailed me the authorization and I sent it back to her before 4pm eastern...I hope they are still able to honor the sale since you called in but never got a call back...! Have you tried to call again?

To be honest, I completely understand that they were busy, so I'm not particularly peeved. Having said that, I'm not exactly jumping at the chance to start a relationship with a TA who doesn't return my calls. ;) :D

Let me throw this name out at ya. I will collapse if you know these fine people from Grand Island. Their names are Albert and Diane DeLeon. Albert works for the city and Diane is a hair stylist. They live near Fonner Park.:)

By the way, Are you a Hendrix fan??? Purplehaze.....That puts you in my age brackett...LOL:D

Cruising is totally addictive....

the more you do, the more you'll want.....

Your life will never be the same....

You'll never want a land based vacation again....

You'll be watching TA websites to look for price reductions to you can get OBC's.....

You'll bore your friends and family... saying the word "cruise" ad nauseum....

You'll become just like the rest of us cruise addicts!!

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!:D :D :D
