Cruising to Bahamas equals raised seal birth certificate and picture ID, like drivers license. Flying in, requires passport until the dates mentioned, probable will be extended at this rate. Please see the official site so you are not one of the horror stories, get the info right from the horses mouth, lol. Have a great time, and don't trust a chat board with such an important question. I thought the date was June 1, 2009? And at that point you wouldn't need a passport if your cruise left from one U.S. port and returned to the same port.
