staylor Posted October 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2004 If ship sells out does that mean there will be no upgrades? :( This may be a dumb question....but is it really sold out or is the still some room for some cabin shifting? I can see on my online site that inside GA's, Outsides, Balconies, and Suites are sold out. There are only Insides left. For some reason the 2/6/05 (Valor) sailing won't even come up on the Carnival site!!!???? Thanks, just wondering.... If they can't sell enough Balconies, rather than lower the price and have 400 people wanting an onboard credit or something, it is easier to move cat 6 window rooms to a balcony and they then try and sell cat 6 rooms. If they still have trouble, they can move inside rooms to outside and then sell insides at the inside pricing. staylor Posted October 24, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted October 24, 2004 Thanks Steve! That would be awesome!!!:) Would they do that 105 days before it sails though? What you are saying makes perfect sense....I also noticed that the price on those insides went up around $100.

The problem is there are some that will want a Balcony or a window and the answer to them would be there are non available right now. They will be wait listed which I believe is code for they will shift a guarantee booking back down from its potential upgrade and surprise, a balcony cabin has become available to the new customer who is willing to pay the big $$ so close to sailing. It is a huge game they play and sometimes you win. Good luck Steve
