beach towels

Recommended Posts

Do we need to bring our own beach towels on the Caribbean Princess?

Thanks! :)

Each Princess ship provides beach towels for the pool/or to take ashore. When you return, leave them in your bathroom and your room steward will supply new ones for your use.

Luckily there is no need to worry about packing your own; talk about ways to take up space in your suitcase. :p

I could hardly get my suitcase closed on the last cruise. Their towels are to big.:D

Does anyone know if these are the same ones that Princess offers as sailaway gifts on their website? If so, can you purchase them on the ship as well?

The ones Princess supplies are totally different then those you can order. They are blue and white stripe for use onboard, and a totally different design for those that can be purchased.

It's easy to spot someone from your ship while at the beach, just look for the blue and white striped towels. ;)

It might be a good idea to ask for a couple extra towels. The ones they provide aren't that big.

I used two in May, I didn't think they were big at all, and I'm little!

Also, unlike someother cruise lines, you do not have to check your towels out and have them accounted for. This is nice if you forget one at the pool, you will not be charged for it.

When coming back from port they often have a bin set up specifically for dirty beach towels, so that you don't have to take them all the way back to your cabin.

..or leave them behind at some beach like some people do rather than carry them all the way back.
