Need help with Port of Miami AA-luggage check-in

Can you still check in for American Airlines flights at the port of Miami? About how much time should we allow for this process?

What is the minimum amount of time prior to your flight that you can check-in?

I used it last year, I don't know if it's still there. The lines were very long and took a long time to get through because they were hand searching luggage. Much better than lugging your bags thru Miami if you had an evening flight like we did though.

What about at Port Everglades? Does AA have a luggage check-in at Port Everglades? (Flying from MIA)

Just spoke with AA. They said the check-in at the Port of Miami is only maned on Fri, Sat, and Sunday. We arrive back on a Monday from a 10 day cruise. Can anyone varify this.
