I'm book on a cruise on the Carnival Triumph for next Sept. Cat 8C on Verandah deck (balcony room). Good deck? Any good points/bad points?
Depending on your cabin location, you *might* experience some chair-sliding noises in the wee hours of the morning as they clean/set up the lido deck above.

on Verandah Deck, cat 8c. Mid ship ,on The Triumph by the elevators (don't remember exact number). I don't remember anything negative about the location.
I'll be there same deck, cat 8c next month (by the elevators).

I just returned from cabin 8335 (Aft).... I did hear some chair moving, but it was a great location with an oversized balcony. I'd recommend changing cabins to the rear of the ship for sure.... We got more exercise walking to the stairs going everywhere although after some cocktails the walk seemed like forever!
