jaw62901 Posted October 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Hi, We just got our edocs for our Jan 9th cruise and it hit us that we are really going on this cruise. We are so excited especially since this is our first one.
cruiser 101 Posted October 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Jason-Good for you. You should ask about the fuel surcharge (they might do away with it for sailings the first of the year) and if NCL can do anything for you since numbers are way down. We are going on the Pearl for the holidays and we got two cabins for the price of one. Good luck and enjoy.

When we made our final payment since the cruise is for our anniversary they said there would be a cake waiting for us in our cabin. When she asked if there was anything else she could do, I said jokingly she could upgrade us to a nicer suite and she said you never know.

jaw62901 Posted October 31, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Those edocs make it seem so real. Happy cruise! I know what you mean. Obviously we knew we were going and all, but something about getting that final confirmation makes it seem that much more real. We should have a good time because it's our first cruise and our first time in a suite.

franu Posted November 1, 2008 #11 Share Posted November 1, 2008 As I have never sailed on NCL before, I was quite excited to get my e-docs last night. It was indeed a special event for me but my friend is out of the country and I haven't shared it yet. I guess that the repeaters know enough not to print the whole thing. I have quite a stack with all of my other confirmations. It is really getting closer and I am concerned about the experience. Fran

Fran We booked an AE suite so we are hoping that the room and the extras that come with booking a suite is just like everyone has said it would be. Kathy Thanks we are very excited about this. At first we were questioning if splurging on an AE suite is worth it or not, but from what other have told us, we won't be disapointed. You should have a great time and a very happy anniversary! coka Thanks. Since we splurged and booked the AE suite we made this a combo anniversary/Christmas gift to each other. While we won't have much to open from each other on Christmas, we will still have something to look forward to after the holidays are over.
