There are two or three in Merida just off the central plaza. Very reasonable. The screens of course are in Spanish but even for this dumby it wasn't hard to figure out. The ones I've seen are on Calle 60 and 62.

NeedstoCruise. If you need to make phone calls from Mexico, go to
[url]www.telmexUSA.com[/url] Telmex is the Mexico National Phone company. The cards are sold online in $10 increments and the calls are .50 per minute. It is suggested to only use them on Telmex payphones to avoid surcharges or other fees on privately owned payphones.
There are plenty of Telmex phones everywhere. I used them when visiting Merida for 8 days last year with absolutely no problem.
