Any info on the port of Savona.

 

What transportation is available at Savona between the port and the Genova airport upon returning from the cruise?

Costa has a brand new facility they built at Savona.

Savona is about 30 minutes from Genova.

We sailed on the Costa Fortuna in March and had transfers from the airport to the port that were included in our cruise cost.

Another couple purchased the Costa transfer at the airport for 18 Euro per person - about $23 per person.

I read on one of the cruise boards that someone was charged $90 for a cab ride from Genova to Savona.

The Genova airport is very small, but Costa has a lounge in the airport where we waited for our flight.
