I hear it was raining as you were leaving. Please tell my kid hello. I'll talk to him Monday evening or Tuesday. I need you to look for a casino dealer named Christina. She's from Romania. Let me know if you see her. Have fun.

Yes it was raining when we left...the seas were a little rough, but have since calm down!

Margie-No movie theater but you will have movies that play each day in your room. There will be plenty for teenagers to do. There will be other kids their age on board.

We were on the Triumph last month. I don't have kids, but I saw plenty of kids (teenagers) meet friends and hang out with them throughout the week.

Hi Terry I just joined the group today, and so glad I did!! Because you are on the Triumph!!

I won the deal of a lifetime on EBay of all places for a cruise on the Triumph Dec11-18.

I prob will have a million questions bare with me. FOr starters though I see you have the net rates? Do they rent laptops? DO they rent wireless cards or do you use your own? Is there any unlimited plan on the wireless?

WHich trip are you doing Eastern or Western?

Can't wait to here from you!

 Wish I was there, have a big NY Deli sandwich for me!! lol

I just talked to IS and all Carnival ships have wireless access in the Internet Cafe.

Terry-Hope you are still having fun. What do you perceive the age group to be this week? Is it older? I found out that Christina has been promoted to an assistant casino manager. So now she will be the tall, dark haired girl in a black jacket in the pit. Please look for me.

Talked to the kid. He was at the Pizza Hut. So much for good food for the crew on board. If you smell pizza on deck six in the very back, that will be him eating and working. The computer room is back there.

Terry-I hear the internet cafe was down on Tuesday. Don't blame my son. The internet cafe is a seperate contract outside of Carnival. My son doesn't have anything to do with it. I guess you will catch us all up when it comes back up. Have fun.

Matt/Delta - what kind of deal did you get? I never know if things like that on Ebay are legit or not. I always feel there are all these "hidden" fees!! Im sure there are some GREAT deals though, if you look. I'll be boarding the Triumph when you are departing :)

TERRY - Is there a swim up bar on the Triumph? I heard a rumor there was, but i've never seen pics of it!

We are in St. Matin as I type. The weather has been very overcast the past few days...cooler I guess is a good thing! Just no reason to lay out in the sun.

The Internet Cafe speed is OK...Not like home but doable. The printer has not been working, but I am OK with that too...I will need it to print out boarding passes on Friday night. Let's hope it is working then.

Not aware of a swim up bar, but who knows!

This is a eastern cruise...the same 4 ships have been in port at all three ports of call - very crowded!

If you have specific questions I will have plenty of time the next two days to answer them! :)

This is actually the 3rd cruise I have purchased from eBay. Big thing I look for if buying a trip on eBay is whether or not its an individual, never from an agent. Start emailing, make sure the respond quickly with sufficient answers. Call the cruise line and ask if the have that person booked on that date in a cabin.....they are usually happy to help and to hear about the deal you got for laughs!! First two were wonderful no prob what so ever and can't wait for this trop. Total purchase for the cruise , transfer fee($50), port charges, and taxes also were included, Nothing left to pay but tips when we get there, was $551.00 for two not per person!!! Thats for 7 days!! I thought it was a great deal!!

ALso, I have sailed on the Triumph before and I do not recall a swim up bar?

The seas were very rough yesterday. Wee Jimmy said the worst he has ever experienced! Things are better today.

I made the finals of the putting contest yesterday during the storm. Not sure that I will ever have to putt in such conditions again! :)

Tell me everything!! We will sail Jan 1 on the Triumph. Do they have a movie theatre? We are traveling with 4 teens. What will be available:) for them to do.

Margie--I can't speak to the Triumph specifically, but my brother just had his second cruise with my nephews, aged 16, 15, 14. They LOVED it last year & LOVED it again this year. Sign them up for Camp Carnival. The Camp Carnival folks are very smart with the teens--they organize activities but hold back & let the kids intermingle. They know kids at that age are too "cool" to be heavily supervised--they mostly just make sure that perv adults don't try to get into the activities. Definitely make sure they go to the first "teen hang" held the first day. That's where the kids first meet up & rapidly make friends. If your teens are anything like our crew, you'll never see them again for the rest of the cruise! Ours had to be ordered to the dinner table; otherwise their parents would never have seen them. They'd wolf down food & grudgingly sit there long enough to fulfill their duty--then they were gone again.
