There is a pole located close to one side of the bed. QUIET? (Yes/No/Usually) Yes (but we had a considerate neighbor) BALCONY VIEW (Good, Great, Obstructed?) Window washing equipment is located on port side of balcony. it was only an annoyance to us when we were trying to take photos on that side. BALCONY SIZE (Standard, Oversized, Other) Large. Plenty of room for two reclining chairs with footstools and a table. The chairs are a bit low for the table, but it is possible to dine on the balcony. WIND A PROBLEM?(Yes/No/Sometimes) No SOOT A PROBLEM?(Yes/No/Sometimes) Sometimes PROBLEMS/COMMENTS (Explain all Noise (including crew door issues), Wind and Soot Problems here, plus all comments and information regarding things like connecting or accessible cabins) The corner aft S1 and the adjacent S2 doors are contained within an alcove having a door to the corridor. When that door is closed, there is no noise from the corridor. We experienced no crew door noise. The only problem we experienced occurred on the final sea day, when we encountered high winds and choppy seas. For approximately 12 hours, deck 11 aft had pronounced diesel fumes, which made the corridor and our suite quite unpleasant. The pool and outside deck directly above. The bass of the music clearly heard inside cabin. Worse yet, was the scraping of lounge chairs at all hours. At 3:30 am, 5:00 am, 6:30 am as staff moved chairs around by dragging them. As well, an a/c vent was directly above the balcony. This vent leaked condensation (but with an oily feel to it) constantly, onto the balcony chairs as well as the balcony floor. Reported to Guest Services Manager, who said she would speak to Engineering. It never happened. Additionally, the vent was covered in a black like substance similar to black mould. We have always cruised Aqua, but never have had these issues. The rooms adjacent (1602 and 1604) also had these vents, but I could not see if they were leaking. Will NEVER stay in this room again! (Thank you to our cabin steward, Arvin for attempting to keep the floor and chairs dry and clean. Unfortunately, a fruitless effort) PICTURES (Attach pictures in your review) DATE OF CRUISE AND "REVOLUTION" COMMENTS Feb/2020, post revolution Edited February 6, 2020 by RealBatman remove intro portion and attempt to add pic
