Fort Lauderdale restaurant question

My pre-cruise stay won't be happening until December, but I thought I'd just ask around -- I will be cruising solo and will be staying in Ft. Lauderdale on a Saturday night, probably in one of the 17th Street area hotels. What I would really like to do is to be able to eat somewhere that's reasonably priced, is within reasonable walking distance from the 17th Street area, isn't a romantic place for couples, and also isn't a big party -- in other words, somewhere that would be comfortable for someone dining alone. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Hi,:) I sail solo all the time and out of Port Everglades more than

I can remember.

There are many, many restaurants and all of them are

for anyone...couples, families, solos, etc. The entire

area around 17th Street is full of tourists, especially

cruisers:):D

 

There is Outback, Chucks, Carlos and Pepes, Bimini Boatyard,

and Bravo's.

There is a shopping area called "Harbour Shops"

which has at least 1/2 dozen restaurants.

I have eaten at Bravo's more than once....its Italian

and very good (in my opinion). I have also eaten at

Carlos and Pepe's...(Mexican;))

Bimini Boatyard is seafood.

Outback is Outback.

 

The Asian place in the Harbor Shops link is supposed

to very good...I have not tried it yet!
