memphre Posted February 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Can anyone tell me how much cab fair is between Fort Lauderdale and the Port of Miami? Do they stiff you with a per person charge? How long a trip in minutes are we talking? Thanks in advance.
macdadsjaw Posted February 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2009 I am sure someone will answer you quickly, but if you search the threads you will find your answer. From what I have heard its about 45 minutes and setting up a shuttle or private ride is the way to go....We ended up paying extra to fly into Miami to not have to deal....especially on the way home.... familyof4cruising Posted February 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Don't do it! It was metered and over $100. For that price you can get car service( limo) and or pay for the NCL transfers.

It's about 1/2 hour to 40 minute drive from FLL to Miami and will cost you close to $100. Having said that though, it might depend on how many of you are going on the trip. Shuttle services aren't cheap either and charge per person, so if you have 3 or more people, and can get all of them into a cab (along with luggage) the cab might be the cheapest option due to the flat rate (not per person charge). If there's just two of you though check around, you can find cheaper. CG

hazeleyes Posted February 12, 2009 #9 Share Posted February 12, 2009 We did the NCL transfer from FLL to Miami and we were charged $20.00 per person each way. On the way back we did the same from NCL ship in Miami to FLL. We were at the airport by 10:30am.
NJLVW Posted February 12, 2009 #10 Share Posted February 12, 2009 There is always Go Shuttle. We used them last year and will be using them again this time. If you do the shared ride it is approx $21.00 pp. They also have town car and private ride for different amounts. We found them right outside the door at FLL.
