You know the ship you want (Glory)

You know the date you want (Sept 26 09)

You got almost payment in full cash in your pocket (way enought to cover deposit)

You got three quotes and Carnival is the cheaper

Do you:

1. Book now

2. Wait for a one day sale or some other sale (OBC-Updgrade etc)

3. Keep Shopping

4. Other

I am in turmoil!

I know if i book now, tomorrow there will be some crazy insane sale.

If i dont book now, tomorrow prices go up 50pp

So help me out!!

Book Now .

That's what I would do , Early Saver , as long as you are aware your deposit is non-refundable ,and you are going to go regardless .

You can still get an adjustment up to two days before sailing on the Early Saver Program if the prices do go down .

This is just based on my personal experience over the last 3 months. We booked in full in Dec. just after Carnival quit making price change allowances and just beforetheir new pricing guarantee program rolled out. There were many lost opportunities.

There were some slight pricing adjustments but the bigger item was a loss of a $300 OBC for our cruise, triple Sea Miles and an additional $100 credit for shore excursions. All offered well after our in full payment and weeks prior to our March sailing.

Don't misunderstand. We are fully happy with the value we purchased or we would not have purchased at the time. In the future we may wait until 4-8 weeks out prior to booking knowing he downside of fewer cabins to choose etc.

Prices for that date start at $399, you arent going to beat that price they have for Early Savers imo. anything below $400 isnt going to last forever.

If you want a particular 1A with port holes at $399 for instance, you almost need to book early. Later on, even if you get the same price or $20 lower lets say, you wouldnt get that port hole cabin and its the same price as 1As on Glory without the port holes.

If you just want to book any inside (for instance), then it wouldnt matter. Depends on what you plan on booking too.

#1 & #2 should be enough for you to make up your mind.

#3 and #4 are just icing on the cake.

I was on the phone with my TA had all my info and called Carnival to book it. By the time she had taken my info and called them the price had gone up! If you want it book it you never know when the price will go up and you have plenty of time before full payment for an OBC if it comes down.

Book now with the Early Saver rate. I just did with the New Carnival Dream for Nov.2009. It was so reasonable and they will make adjustments if price drops. Can't beat that. Only thing beware you deposit is non-refundable.
