Carnival credit if I book on sister ship?

Nope.

Go to Carnival's website. It will explain the Past Guest policy and how it relates to the other lines.

You do qualify for past-guest prices on the other lines, if applicable to the sailing you want to book. But each individual line has their own loyalty program.

Any Carnival ship will count to the Platinum VIP status for the Carnival Cruise line only. The other family lines like Princess Cruise line will extend past guest privilages only to CCL past guests. Once you do reach Platinum level you all of a sudden get on each lines mailing list.

Hopefully someday Platinum VIP status on one line will extend to all the other lines within the Carnival corp fleet.
