Disney Ground Transfer - Times??

That is perfect. The buses start leaving at 10AM from the Mears side of the airport. If you tag your luggage prior to leaving home with the DCL tags, you are footloose & free. Just grab the baby with the carry-ons and head to the Mears side of the airport. (Oh, do not forget hubby) !!! lol.... DCL grabs your bags. Once you get to the Mears side of the airport, just head to the DCL line. Do NOT go to Magical Exspress counter, no need. This is for the land people. Just get your booklet out DCL sends you with the transfers and you will just hop on the bus. Happy cruising you will probably get on bus # 1, 2 or 3 with the time your plane is arriving... Have fun..;)

What time does the Disney Shuttle leaving the ship get you to the Orlando Airport? We are thinking about an 11:30 AM Flight which is 1/2 the cost of the recommended 12:30 PM Flight.

Thanks.

You can make an 11:30 flight if you don't dawdle. Order room service and be off the ship early. You should have a couple of hours to get through the airport.

Just in case, make sure that you aren't hosed if you do end up missing the flight. A couple of years ago, we were delayed more than an hour leaving MCO when some nit-wit walked in through the out security. The TSA didn't stop him and couldn't find him once they figured out what happened. :O

We had a 1230 flight, which was the earliest that Disney recommended and the airline changed itmto 1153. Disney told us to inform their agent when we checked in at the terminal and they changed everything for us and there was no problem. We deliberately booked the Disney bus to the airport (we arrived at the terminal by rental car) to take advantage of their service where you can check your luggage on board ship. That way you just walk off the ship, get on the bus and go straight to the gate- no milling around the terminal looking for your luggage. You don't see your luggage again until you pick them up at your destination! That was a great new feature and I think it helps a lot for earlier flights.

I believe only guests in suites can order room service on the last morning. However, Topsiders/Beach Blanket opens early and may be faster than the dining room.

You are correct. Cat 4 - 12 must eat at the restaurant they were in the previous night and if you are second seating that will play against you. Do the buffet and if your airline participates with onboard check in make sure you get that done, this way you go through exit faster.
