familycruzer Posted February 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2009 If I book a Celebrity cruise using a Passages certificate, can I get a price drop if I am so lucky to catch one? I have used many "next cruises" on Royal Caribbean and have been lucky a few times to catch a price drop. Also, I know that the OBC goes buy cruise fare. Can someone break down how much OBC you get with cruise fare?

junglejane Posted February 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I have a Passages Certificate and it says: TOTAL CRUISE-ONLY FARE ONBOARD CREDIT $0001-$2499 $50 per stateroom $2,500-$3,999 $100 per stateroom $4,000-$5,999 $150 per stateroom $6,000-$7,499 $200 per stateroom $7,500+ $300 per stateroom It also says "Your Celebrity Passages account balance cannot be used for cruises chartered by third parties and may not be used for certain customized group programs (i.e. value add groups) and may not be combinable with certain restricted or promotional fares." I've never used one yet. I thought I read somewhere on this board where someone complained that they couldn't take advantage of a price drop unless they re-booked and forfeited the Passanges deposit. Does anyone know if that's true? --Junglejane
