queeniebeanie292 Posted February 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hi Everybody, We are booked on this sailing in room 7301- cat 9A. It appears to be right behind the elevators. Cruise rep from Carnival said I wouldnt hear a thing, just wanted to make sure. Got a pretty good deal too..less than 4000.00 for all four of us. Just curious if anyone had any experience with this room or in this vicinity. Thanks for any and all help
JoeSmooga Posted February 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2009 We had this exact room (7301) Jun 4-11 09 out of LA. You will LOVE it... best room we have had on any of our cruises hands down. Tons of space. Never heard the elevators at all. If I could figure out a way to post a video up here on CC, I have a 3 minute tour of the cabin (hosted by my DD and DS) that would give you the entire layout of the room itself. Here's a couple of pics from the room... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=117748&l=97ea1&id=1598256599 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=117749&l=93729&id=1598256599 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=117770&l=9a417&id=1598256599 Joe
queeniebeanie292 Posted February 23, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 23, 2009 How many did you have stay in the room with you? Does it have an upper bunk that (comes out of ceiling?) Rep told us that my DH, and two little ones would have plenty of room.
JoeSmooga Posted February 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2009 4 total, two adults and two kids. Check out the pics I just added to the above post. My kids are 8 and 6, and had TONS of room to spread out. Amazingly, in this room we actually had more storage in our room than we had clothes/stuff to put in them! JoeSmooga Posted February 23, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Took this from another post I had about this room... "Tip... there's an extra plug in behind the TV that's not in use, in addition to the one on the desk. Just need to swivel the TV to get at it. I ran an extension cord off that extra plug over towards the "kids" beds so they could have a place to charge their Nintendo's DS's during the day, and then rerouted it over to the big bed at night for a clock, C-PAP machine, etc." In one of the pictures I posted, you can see the extention cord hanging down from the right hand side of the TV. It was totally out of the way and we never tripped over it at all during the week. Nice to have when you have a family of 4 in there :)
