kaseyoz Posted February 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2009 There are a few posts on the main page but not a link I think. I tried several hotels as we will be at the lyric theatre in May for Chicago and the most are over $200. I know quite a few have got cheap deals though. The_Big_M Posted February 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I tried several hotels as we will be at the lyric theatre in May for Chicago and the most are over $200. The sale is only on Asia Pacific hotels.
kaseyoz Posted February 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2009 The sale is only on Asia Pacific hotels. Sorry I wasn't clear, I am seeing "Chicago" the musical at the Lyric theatre star city in sydney, not chicago the city:D:D Cheaper just to get a cab home but a night in the city would have added a nice touch. mitejoel Posted April 14, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 14, 2009 Seeking some information on where to stay on the night before our cruise on 3 July. We're flying into Perth arriving at about 10:30pm in prep for our cruise which leaves from Fremantle on the 3 July. We're a family of 4 (two tall teenage kids) - so where probably looking at 2 rooms. Any suggestions on Perth hotels? Cheers Mike
CRUISING ALONG Posted April 16, 2009 #8 Share Posted April 16, 2009 Hi mitejoel I suggest you look at the wotif site. They now list accommodation 3 months in advance and you can compare the various hotels. Another idea is to stay in Fremantle overnight. Check out the Fremantle Visitor Centre at http://www.fremantlewa.com.au they have a lot of accommodation options. We were on the Sun Princess last June from Fremantle to Sydney and this cruise and the couple of previous cruises that went to Asia all arrived back in Fremantle late- around midday and left late too. So be prepared you might have a few hours to kill if the same happens this year. Fremantle is a great City plenty to see and do. Have a great cruise! regards CRUISING ALONG:)
NSWP Posted April 16, 2009 #9 Share Posted April 16, 2009 Re Accor deals - Some IBIS hotels are going for $99 a night per room, plus $1 each for buffet brekkie, booked one today for Wollongong, going to a Wedding. MITEJOEL..Re Perth accommodation - prior to our Sun Princess cruise last year around OZ, we stayed a night in IBIS, Perth for around $70, quite OK, and a stones throw from the railway station for a quick, cheap trip to Freo for the ship, then only a 10 minute walk to ship.
