Question about specialty restaraunts aboard Mariner on Recent Sailings

I read somewhere that the first night onboard that the rates were reduced (half the normal price) for Chops & Portafino. Was that true?

Not true. Also, on Serenade only one restaurant is open the first night. They alternate.

WE were on the Explorer in April 2004 and the 1st night in Portofino's was $5.00 cheaper on the first night.
