After you get off the ship and finally exit the Gatehouse, keep walking past Pelican Village on Princess Alice Hwy. Continue past the Parliament Buildings then turn right on Bridge Street to the Fairchild Bus Station on the corner of Bridge & Fairchild. Turn right over the bridge to the terminal at Bridge and Fairchild about one mile.

10 minute walk to bus station. Bus is $0.75pp each way.

Sorry guys -- I came in late and missed part of this thread. Could you explain more about this beach and the inexpensive bus to get to it. Do you use US money or do you have to exchange for local coins. How far away is this beach? We just booked very last minute on the Maasdam leaving in less than two weeks and really don't want to do "excursions". We just need to chill out on the beach.
