louieond Posted March 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Hi all, we're doing a morning shore excursion that ends at 12:15 pm and were wondering if it's worth it (or possible) to take a cab to Christiansted. I think I read somewhere that it's a 20min. ride to C-sted. Does anyone know what the taxi rate is for 4 people? What we want to know is, will a coupe of hours in C-sted be worth the expense of the taxi ride and the time to get there or should we just relax and enjoy whats in Fredricksted. Thanks! proser Posted March 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2009 There is not much to do/see in Fredricksted. The cab ride to Christiansted is more like 30-35 minutes each way.Not sure of the cost. Lots of tourist shops and a nice boardwalk with bars & restaurants in C-Sted. You could kill a couple of hours Another option is take a taxi 5 min north of town thee are several beach bars along the road.
