*Mach* Posted March 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Welcome!! How's the weather in Vegas??? That would be considered an acceptable amount of water to bring. If you put it in your check luggage it'll be fine... better than toting 14 bottles of water with you as you explore the ship before your cabin is ready. Also, consider the fact that the majority of fresh water is produced on board by reverse osmosis. It really is very good!!! Have a great time on your cruise! What ship are you sailing on??? TheVegasMan Posted March 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Welcome!! How's the weather in Vegas??? Mach Sunny with a high of about 70 today. You're allowed to bring on a reasonable amount of water, juices, soda or other non-alcoholoic beverages. We just brought along two water bottles and re-filled them from the water dispenser on the Lido Deck.
ray98 Posted March 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 5, 2009 I always put a sealed case (24) of water in a duffel bag which gets checked with my other luggage. I have never had a problem and it gives me an extra bag if I need it for the trip home.
marimojo Posted March 5, 2009 #7 Share Posted March 5, 2009 On our last cruise, we got on the ship and went right up to the buffet, sitting close to the entrance door. A young couple come walking up, he has a small carryon bag and she is lugging a 24 case of Ozarka bottled water, it looked painful. She had red welts on the upper part of her arm from the carton digging into her. I don't recommend doing this - we got on the ship early, so did they, they had to lug that water around with them for a couple of hours until the the cabins were available. Lesson learned: Put the water in your checked in luggage or drink the ship water, its really quite good - imho.
