Scooters in Dominica?

Is there a place to rent scooters in Dominica? If so are they solid...?

 

Obviously want to avoid the shady ones!

Don't do it. I would never drive a vehicle in Dominica and I am a professional..a scooter would seem like a death wish.

There are very few scooters or motorcycles in Dominica. The driving is crazy there, I wouldn't even drive a tank on those roads. (Loved every minute of our tour though).

I don't even think I saw one motorcycle in Dominica. For a tourist to attempt a scooter there would be a death defying feat. No way in hell would I do that!

although admittedly the only real risk

would be crumbling edges on those precipitous mountain roads :D <---I'm not really laughing at the prospect

don't feel bad, though, you should see what happened when i thought i'd rent a car. (well, you can, look at the thread) glad i listened. the reality of dominica hit me within five minutes in a car.....what was i thinking???? enjoy your visit.
