EVENING LOSERS

I will post everyone's weights tomorrow as I just got home and am really tired.

Hard day/night/day at work.

That will also give everyone a chance to post them.

I'm sorry but the bed is calling my name.......Viiiicccckkkkeeey.

Good Night.

Vickey: I hope you got some much needed rest. :D

Here's my week's results....

Current weight: 130.4 (Progress is made 1 pound at a time!)

I made pot roast tonight but I made a deal with myself that I had to go on the treadmill for 1 hour before I could eat. In the end, it was worth it! Yum!

Take care everyone,

Brenda

I bought a pair of pants last August that were a little too small for me and since then, I gained a few inches on my belly. They are very nice and I would really much like to wear them for the wedding I was invited to in France. The nice weither has come back and I will start taking long walks starting today. On top of those walks, I will go on the treadmill and I will go up and down my staircase. To help flatten my belly, I will start doing my pilates DVD. I will soon start working on the Hip hop habs DVDs too. I had gotten them for my daughters, but they don't do them... I will do them and to prevent any overuse of my knee prostice, I will simply not jump while doing the workout.

As for the pain in my belly, it is still there but if I don't think about it, it does not bother me. I have an appointement with the specialist on June 5th and after that, I will have a test to go through. All I can do for now, is hope for the best and keep on living life to the fullest and that is exactly what I intend to do!!!

Don't worry, be happy!!!

I bought a bunch of brand new clothes (dress pants, shirts, swim trunks) for the cruise. spent 250 on them. But worth it. Now just have to get some more clothes for the trip.

Also, seeing that 2 pound difference is mainly just a fluxuation in the water weight that day. There are days that i lose 2 pounds and then the next day it is back up.

Hip Hops abs is a lot of fun, and also a lot of hard work. Did it last night and my abs are still hurting. My legs too.

Congratulations on your 4 lbs!!! That is such an awesome feeling to see results!!

Today and yesterday have not been the most focused for me. Yesterday we had tons of errands and things to do, didn't get home until after 9 pm. Then today it was beautiful, but 89 degrees and I intended to exercise tonight, but was too hot and sticky. So two days missed, I'm off my roll...but only temporarily. I will make sure I exercise tomorrow morning while I am still feeling cool!!

Hope everyone had a beautiful day and was able to enjoy the sunshine!

You will get back on track....we will see to it that you do:D

Is your weight for this week 216 lbs? I need to post the correct weight.

The workout video I got was 30 day shred. The trainer is Jillian Micheals from the biggest loser! Out of all the workouts I do that one makes me sweat the most!!! I love it!!!

-Jamie

I would love to try both Jillian"s and Bob's workout videos.

Hi All! I had a great weekend with the nice weather, but wasn't terribly good about getting on that elliptical. I've just joined a group at work called Active for Life, which is going to run for 10 weeks. I've committed myself to the 30 - 59 minute range at least five days a week, so hopefully that will also help to provide a motivation to stick with it.

Congrats on the weight loss! With the weekend I had, I was too chicken to get on the scale this morning, but I will tomorrow (I think!!)

Motivation is the key factor.....and joining a group seems to keep us committed. You can do it.:) Just have fun doing it.

Hey there fellow losers! (I mean that in a good way.)

I hope all of you are having a great weekend. Today was a perfect mix of discipline, self-control, and being productive. (While that is rare for me, it is not unheard of! :D)

I ran this morning (did my best 5K yet - slow for most runners but it was still good for me!) and had a lite breakfast and then did a few hours of volunteer work with the local food bank. Lifting and sorting boxes was a work-out unto itself. So..... that was my day. (Insert a nap in the afternoon and shopping for new undies and then that is really all of my day. :p)

Take care y'all.

Brenda

I am proud to be called a LOSER.:D

I am also proud of you....5K and volunteering at your local food bank I know that is hard work.

I hope you enjoyed a nap and want to hear more about your new UNDIES:rolleyes:

I have the Biggest loser boot camp with Bob. He kicks my ass all the time.

Well good morning everyone. Wanted to report in. I am at 198.2 this morning. So a 0.8 loss this week from last week. I will take it. A loss is a loss.

Amen...I will take it an ounce at a time just like pennies they all count up to something bigger and better.

today was a bad day for me.

Apple for breakfast at work

we had a pizza lunch with cake at work, as we had one of our guys just get back from Iraq. So of course I had to have myself a piece of cake to celebrate and thank him for his service.

Did do a 30 minute Hip Hop Abs workout tonight along with throwing a football around and walking those 160 steps 3 times today.

Will work hard this week to not gain.

I am confident that you will make up for eating that piece of cake....just walk a few more STEPS.

Hope you had a nice time with your friend we need more like him serving our country.

1 pound loss is great.

Pot roast sounds yummy, I put in a turkey breast for tonights meal and will have a sweet potato and green beans to go with it.

I did manage to get some sleep, I worked 52 hours straight doing private care with a patient that was not doing so well.

I am sitting with her now and posting but she is doing alot better today...Thank God.

Great job you two......You will both reach your cruise goals before you know it.

And think of how nice it will be to buy all new cruise outfits.

You are going to be able to wear those pants for the France wedding.:)

Take it easy on your knees and hope your belly feels better.

As for me today has gone fairly good went to Y and did my cardio (60 minutes treadmill) and my eating has been under control so far today for breakfast and lunch hope I don't mess up and eat too much:eek:

As for walking the dog tonight that is out of the question it has rained (poured) all day and doesn't look like it will give up any time soon.

Do you think he would walk on the treadmill at home with me.

I will get more exercise in by walking around the grocery store I need more veggies.

If you keep him on a thight lease and show him that the treadmill is no threat to him, there shouldn't be any problem. Good luck ;):D:D

I will definitely make up for that cake. Walked the stairs today, then had my banana for breakfast along with a liter of water. Lunch was a salad and dinner was homemade tacos. 93% lean ground meat (don't like ground turkey).

Going tanning and to the gym later tonight (yeah, i have to tan. I am too white not to tan before the wedding and cruise).

Hi:D CAN I JOIN YOU

My name is Vickey I am going to be 51 years young on April 7th and DH (55years young) and we are going to be taking our first cruise on October 15th and we are trying to get ourselves in better shape.

I weigh 230 lbs and 5'3...DH weighs 223lbs and is 5'7 I have lost 6 lbs and DH has lost 14 lbs in the last 2 weeks, we joined our local "YMCA".

I have some medical issues such as fibromyalgia and am a cancer surivor (5 years this October) have gained 80 lbs in the last 5years after being on and off steriods and a cancer drug, I also have hypothyroid disease.

Stating all that I will admit I am totally out of shape and have very low stamia and no will power.

But I am tired of being fat and out of shape so I hope to get some support and hopefully be able to give it back to all of you on here.

I will be trying to eat healthy ,get my excercise in and post....I do journal on www.fitday.com they also have some helpful info on their site.

I will be looking forward to reading all about everyones loses and look forward to your support and encouragement.

Everyone have a wonderful Saturday.:)

Thought I'd check back to see my first post on here.

Since then I might not have lost as much weight as I had anticipated but I have gained the stamina I was looking to find. I know that as more weight comes off I will gain more energy to do the things that hindered me and hoping to gain back the self esteem that I have lost among the way.

But what I realise the most is there is alot of support and encouragement on here and I want to thank all of you for that, it keeps me accountable. Especially on those days when I feel like giving up. Just to know that there are others who also struggle just like me to live every day trying to get healthy.

I have found that my patients, friends and co-workers are rooting for me.

Today I had a doctor whose wife I attend to give me a very expensive digital scale that is within 1/10 of an ounce of your true weight.

He also gave me a journal to keep track of my weight.

But more important was his confidence in me to loose the weight.

I was sharing with him how discouraged I was getting after going to the Y 5 days a week faithfully for 2 months and that I was even eating pretty healthy with slip ups of course but he told me to hang in there and for me to realise that I do have medical conditions that will stand in my way but for me to look at how far I've come in the last 5 years and to fight the weight loss with as much determination as I did the cancer. And I would win that battle too. One day at a time. One pound at a time and that I had the rest of my life to achieve that goal and for me not to stress so much on how quickly the weight comes off but to just keep it coming off.

After a couple of stressed over worked days/nights I wept right there in front of him and he hugged me and told me he was proud of me that made me feel like I not only wanted to do this for myself but for those that believe in me.

So on that note I am here to tell each and everyone of you that WE CAN AND WILL DO IT.

ps.....thanks for listening to me rant on again.:D Love you guys:)

Good morning (well almost afternoon here in Pittsburgh). Crappy weather today and yesterday, but I did a half hour workout on the elliptical and 20 minutes on weights yesterday.

My main reason for this topic today is to say that I have just started an online tracker for weightloss and monitor what I eat. It is called FitDay. This is going to be very tough, as I am going to write my food every day and keep track. this will be very tough as I have to really monitor what I eat.

I am hoping that I am at 198 or lower next monday (i know only wednesday, but still worried about it).

Good luck everyone and wish you well.

Happy Hump day!

Hi there everyone. Today was a work from home day (translation, not much to do except check emails and sit around listening to the news about swine flu.)

In honor of Walk at Lunch Day, I did just that. Even though I was working from home, I took a 1/2 hour walk. I may take a day off the treadmill (eek!) and take it easy this evening.

Not much else to say except I wish you all well today.

Take care,

Brenda

Hello everyone. Today was a good day for me too. My business is growing slowly but surely and it is nice to see that.

I was going up and down the stairs today when DH called and I forgot to finish my count :(

I am thinking about going for a walk with him as his punishment :D:D

Take care 4_4_109.gif
