magicsoccer Posted March 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2009 I have read on this site that the Monarch does not have safes in the inside rooms. What do you do prevent money/valuables from being stolen while out of your room? How safe is it to leave cash in the room? I thought that I read that they have safes at the desk to borrow. Does this mean you bring them to your room, or leave items at the desk?
PH8 Posted March 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2009 There are safes in cabins deck 9 and 10...........what I do with a cabin without one,is lock stuff in my suitcase, stashed under the bed............never had a problem........dont think the steward would risk his job,by pulling the suitcase out and breaking the lock(after all, they keep the doors open while in your cabin) OR you can rent a safety deposit box at Guest Relations.........but everytime you want something, you have to go.wait in line so they can bring it to you........they are kept in a room behind the desk. CruisinDawn Posted March 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2009 My parents just had an inside on deck 5 or 6 just off the centrum, no safe. Our JS's always had one. BonVoyage Dawna
masterbaker Posted March 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2009 There are safe deposit boxes at Guest Relations but we just lock our valuables in a suitcase and leave it under the bed when we have a cabin without a safe. Never have had any problem that way. Have a fun cruise! :)
